Most Expensive Wedding Dresses 1“The wedding dress of Grace Kelly was worn by Grace Kelly in her wedding to Prince Rainer III of Monaco on 19 April 1956. The dress is cited as one of the most elegant and best-remembered bridal gowns of all time, and one of the most famous since the mid 20th century.” – Wikipedia

A wedding entails a lot of preparation, starting from the very small details down to the very big details. If you have gotten married before, you know very well how a wedding dress can make a huge difference in the life of a bride to be.

Furthermore, you should be well aware of the fact that wedding dresses are usually a bit expensive; you can either purchase your own wedding dress or you have one rented out. Things can certainly get very pricey if you want to have the most beautiful wedding dress known to man. Some women are more than willing to pay for expensive wedding dresses while others prefer to choose a more practical one.

In this article, we will discuss some of the most expensive wedding dresses ever created. It’s up to you to decide whether you want to enjoy the glamour and sophistication that these wedding dresses bring, or you can opt for something a bit more reasonable. These expensive wedding dresses have been worn by popular women of our society and if you want to take a glimpse of these wedding dresses, then continue reading.

Diamond Wedding Gown

Most Expensive Wedding Dresses 2

This is, to date, the most expensive wedding gown ever created. The total cost of this gown is $12 million. The gown was created with the joint effort of Renee Strauss, a wedding salon owner in Beverly Hills and Martin Katz, a unique jewel dealer. What made this gown very expensive and stunningly fabulous is it’s 150 plus carat diamonds. In other words, it is even more expensive and glamorous than the average engagement ring. You will literally be amazed seeing this wonderful creation. It is a perfect form of art, which of course every bride dreams of wearing.

Diamond Wedding Gown With Traditional Cut

This wedding dress was created with the “diamond wedding gown” as an inspiration to its birth. However, this wedding gown cost $8.5 million, $3.5 less than its resource, as it contains a total of two 5 carat diamonds and more than 1,000 beautiful pearls.

Peacock Feather Wedding Dress

This is somewhat cheaper than the two aforementioned wedding dresses, but is still expensive when compared to the average wedding dress. It was in 2009 when the peacock wedding dress became very popular. The total cost of creating an ultimate peacock feather wedding dress is around $1.5 million.

Most Expensive Wedding Dresses 4

The colour of a peacock wedding dress is non-traditional, so if you are the type of bride who wants to wear a more modernized dress, then a peacock feather wedding dress can be your best option. A lot of brides have been using it since its creation and up until now it still shines through. You will definitely standout during your wedding ceremony with a gown like this.

Conclusion

Your choice of wedding dress could potentially make or break your wedding ceremony. It is good to enjoy the glamour and class of your wedding dress, but you also have to consider the value of your money, especially with the current economic state. If money is not a problem to you, then by all means you can wear any gown you wish.

On the other hand, if you are on a tight budget, then choose a practical wedding dress that will benefit you in as many respects as possible. If you don’t mind wearing a second hand wedding gown, then you can take advantage of the pre-loved dresses on offer. A lot of rich brides sell their wedding dress at half of its original value. You can also ask your designer to come up with a wedding dress that suits your needs and budget.
